Honestly though, it's a great resto-mod project. Considering that the doors, interior, paint and axles are probably fine, you could just drop the engine and throw in a more modern 5.0HO or 4.6 pretty cheaply, and then replace the rusted panels with some aftermarket ones (there are companies that make whole fiberglass mustang shells) clean the interior off, and you could have a clean, classic mustang for under 10k.
